Dissertation "German adverbial adjectives: syntactic position and semantic interpretation"
I show that German adverbial adjectives can have several
distinct semantic usages in a sentence, ranging from the use as manner
adverbial to the use as a sentence adverbial. The different usages correlate with
different syntactic positions. I demonstrate how sentences containing scope-sensitive manner
adverbials and adverbials with associative readings can be formally
represented and compositionally derived.

M.A. Thesis: "Die homophone Partikel de: Ihre Konstruktion und deren Relevanz im crossmodalen Priming"
I report a psycholinguistic experiment on the
three-way homophonic Mandarin Chinese particle "de" in its function as a marker of the
descriptive complement.
The results show that in hearing Chinese, Chinese subjects to not
always activate the characters corresponding to the tested usage,
suggesting that disambiguating Chinese characters play only a small
role in auditory comprehension.
